The Toni & Matt Show #4
The Toni & Matt Show #4
Chris Lear joins Toni & Matt on Episode #4, without a doubt the best one so far. Not because of Chris (although he provides brilliant insight), but because of you - the listeners. Four audio comments made it into the conversation, which adds an entirely different dynamic to the show. If you have a question, comment, criticism, or suggestion, send it to 206.888.0346. Does that number scare you? Then record it as an mp3 file and email it to comments (at) runnerville (dot) com.

Two things: regarding my last ‘comment’, the audio balance on this show was perfect. The other thing is I think you’ve got the length of the show just right. Gordon in Scotland

Aloha Matt & Toni,
The show is coming along nicely and the one-hour format is great.
Toni’s commentary is the real deal: raw, honest, no fluff.
He managed to tie-in strippers last week, and this week compares running (Pros v. Joes) to the Creation v. Evolution debate.
That’s enough to keep me listening.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I’m glad to hear you’re diggin’ the show length because it’s next to impossible to shut Toni up. If everyone said, “The show is too long, make it twenty minutes,” we’d be in trouble…
Just kidding Toni

I like the one-hour format. Twenty minutes would be way too short. Speaking of being too short, that’s one of my only complaints about “Spirit of the Marathon.” After watching the deleted scenes, I thought they over-edited the film (the hippo scene was great). Either that or they should have had less characters. To me it seemed to jump around from person to person without going into as much depth with Deena and Daniel as I would have liked to see. Then again, maybe the general audience is less interested in the elites’ training…well that’s the assumption anyway. Overall I liked it (especially the music). It was amazing to watch a movie about running on the big screen.
